We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, phone number, email address, shop details, payout/bank account information, and listing content (photos, descriptions, prices). We also collect usage data such as pages viewed, searches made, and device/browser information.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the platform - creating and verifying accounts, publishing listings and shop profiles, processing paid promotions through our payment providers, showing you relevant listings, communicating with you about your account, and keeping the platform safe (fraud prevention, dispute review, responding to reports).
3. Sharing your information
Your public listing and shop details (name, photos, city/state, phone number if shown, reviews) are visible to other users so they can contact you. We share limited data with third-party payment processors (Paystack and Flutterwave) to process paid promotions. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Payment data
We do not store full card or bank credentials. Payments for promotions are handled directly by our payment processors, who maintain their own security and compliance standards. Payout account details you provide are used solely to identify you as a verified seller.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (like your selected state/location), and understand how the platform is used.
6. Data retention
We retain account and transaction-adjacent data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward where needed for legal, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
7. Your rights
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@onemall.ng. Note that some information (e.g. content needed for active disputes or legal compliance) may be retained where permitted by law.
8. Children's privacy
ONEMALL.NG is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Compliance
We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
